How we make money
Can I Get It Cheaper? is free to use. Here's exactly how we pay for it.
Referral commission
When you click through to a provider or comparison partner and take out a new deal, that partner may pay us a commission. Current and planned partners:
- Energy: The Energy Shop (typically £30–£40 per dual-fuel switch)
- Broadband & mobile: BT and Sky via the Awin affiliate network (typically £20–£45 per sale)
- Car & home insurance: Quotezone, operated by Seopa Ltd (a few pounds per policy). We intend to act as an Introducer Appointed Representative of Seopa; we do not give insurance advice.
What commission never changes
Our verdict is calculated from your bill and public market benchmarks (such as the Ofgem price cap) before we look at any partner. If you're already on a good deal, we'll say so — even though that earns us nothing. We don't rank deals by how much they pay us.
What we don't do
- No ads.
- No selling your data.
- No charge for checking a bill.
Operated by Bishop Co Tech Limited (company no. 16240322), 14 Riverside Walk, Ashford TN23 4AR. We may in future offer an optional paid tier for ongoing monitoring; checking a bill will stay free.
